my word. i cannot remember how long it has been since my last entry. so much has happened since that i do not know from where to begin.

i remember one post i wrote some time ago saying that i would keep this blog up and running until i graduate law school- funny idea it seemed back then, seeing how i never saw myself leaving law school period. alas, i graduated, on the second day of july in the year two thousand and ten. two days shy of my turning twenty three. epic, that. i am almost in my mid twenties.... mercy!

i felt nothing on the day of graduation, save a slight comfort on my shoulders knowing that a little burden has finally been lifted from them. the nothingness where a ridiculously stupid amount of joy should have been owes itself to my parents not being there to share that moment with me, and the fact that my uncle took his last breath just the week before. then again, the presence of one who did make it to the ceremony made the day one that i will remember for as long as i live. and for that, i will always be grateful.

he came to me when i was down, and broken. when i thought no one person could make me feel worthy of their appreciation, adoration, and their love. stupid as it might sound to you and me now, but that was how i felt back then. it came to me like a damn epiphany how foolish i was for allowing others to hurt me that way. but he came, and proved every misconceived thought i had of him, wrong.

only time will tell if i am able to keep this blog running for much longer. i might get around to telling you little tales of my part in the construction of an igloo at northcourt avenue, how i discovered one of the greatest pleasures in life, or the time i spent in paris with my beloved.

the past nine months has been a crazy emotional rollercoaster ride. it has taught me so much about myself and others that i can say today that i am looking back at it with no regrets.

i finished school at Reading, found love at Reading, and i have since left with memories of some of the better days of my first twenty three years of living.

i know for sure that some of the people i have known, loved, and loathed at times, i will remember and hope to still see in years to come.
