that was quite a long leave of absence. i hope all is well, to you reading this, whoever you may be.

strangely enough i cant recall much of what happened the past week. perhaps punching the keys on my notebook for a minute or so might bring back a memory or two. i'll tell you what i did on the weekend for the time being, before that too slips out of my mind.

saturday saw me scrambling out of bed at 10.30 (beautiful, beautiful sleep that was. sighs.) when i heard mum opening the door, saying 'arent you supposed to meet your friend at 11 today?'. not remembering what i said, i rolled over and dozed off for a mere 3o seconds before coming to my senses with my eyes wide open. so i fell out of bed, still drowsy from the meds taken the night before (or is it from the excess sleep?) got myself ready, ran out of the door, and sped my way to subang. why cant traffic on the weekdays be as nice ? anywhos...seems like i wasnt the only one who slept in. LJ arrived an hour later. met LPL and shermaine at the web working on their moot. good luck on monday, dearies :)
after brunch, we each headed out to pyramid, i zoomed past our munchkin giving a superman-like pose by starbucks. dont make me laugh like that while on the road please. i almost crashed.

having done a good job on our booklets for the moot, we gave ourselves a break and went shopping! lol, not for ourselves, but for the boyfriend. after quite some time, we got what we needed and i went home only to leave an hour later to watch my earliest childhood crush-he's quite an antique now, on the big screen: INDIANA JONES ;)

i grew up watching harrison ford, first as han solo and then indy with his fedora, thanks to my george lucas-buff father. of the old trilogy, my all time favourite has to be the temple of doom, i watched it so many times as a kid, my parents used to hide the vhs from me. i even know the lines. lol. anyways, i was looking forward to this latest installment, though i was wondering how the much older indy would manage swinging from his whip. as expected however, george lucas' ability to tell good stories has waned, as evident in the lack of pace and the inclusion of aliens into the story; the last star wars flick was proof of this. but, it was undescribably pleasant to watch just about the best action hero character ever created after more than a decade of not seeing him. all of a sudden, the theme song seemed all too familiar.

shia labeouf- the wackjob from 'even stevens', was a surprisingly good introduction to the franchise. somehow i can see whats coming, what with his character being the ..... ah better not spoil it! lol.

today, sunday the 25th of may, would see me by my desk at home, reading law.

and no, i still cannot remember what i did the past week. blame the meds.
