friday the 13th
3:05 PM

oh i know what you're thinking...:
'she just cant help herself, can she?'.
as cheesy as i come, i've chosen to post one on this fussed up day, despite having just responded to zhunkit's comment with a 'noooo tiiiime'.

rewind;

the trip to putrajaya on monday was fun in some parts, dull in others and wickedly painful altogether (no thanks to the scorching sun and little sleep the night before). i've been to putrajaya only once before since i landed here from my not so little second island home. my first thought of the place: ah, we cant be in malaysia. however! driving through the ginormous roundabout i thought only sarawak could have, and getting close to being hit by a drunken cabbie, brought me back to realize: we're still in kansas, toto.

i must say though, the city looks mighty impressive. now we know where all of the taxpayers' money go to- prettying up the offices of the who's who of the country's most overpaid and under-utilized. dpk took quite a number of pics, which i shall upload in due time.

as usual, our white sister went awol, having convinced herself that my lousy translation skills would make the trip there rather pointless. she has a point, but my malay is not that bad. oh i can just about picture mun onn snorting at that line. fyi sir, gubal and bubar sound just about the same. sometimes i cant tell between the two. i'm sure few people can..? ;)

the federal court hearing was an almost exact replica of the moots. there was a mr nandrajog trying to explain things and confusing people at the same time, a mr kang addressing the judges with such calmness and ease, and a mr nee in the form of a woman clutching the most prettiest black prada in court. i thought the judges were nicer than the ones in the moots (not directed to any one person) lol.

we visited the library at the palace of justice, as well as the museum, none of which were very big. saw some pretty interesting stuff. N.B. it doesnt take much to amuse me these days.

our lunch break was by the lake at putrajaya. i got to be william's bitch for a day, hogging nep's lappie to make orders on a new super the cheap marc jacobs. i am so going to miss the fella. and dineshy too. oh well. there's the munchkin left. pimp him up and grow more hair, i say!

the visit to the attorney-general's chambers was- simply put, a waste of time. i did not see how it helped us in any way, shape or form, save knowing that having a high post in the A-G's chambers dont mean squat if your English is messed up. the bald one mun onn found annoying, methinks. i felt the same way too.

i remember being a kid in primary school, there was a friday the 13th, on which my teacher chose to warn us of the possibility that computers will get hacked into, the mrt would stop running, and of course that bad things will happen to you.

bollocks.

nothing really bad happened today, that is if you dont include getting stuck, and squeezing through the horrible traffic to and from subang..... but... something about my brakes just doesnt seem right. hmm.

ah! yes yes. something did put a damp on things. my moots (long overdue) has been set to take place on friday next week. :s

wont have much to say till then.

toodles.
