soundtrack of my life...
12:55 PM

remember ever going through a point in your life when you can skip down a walkway, without a care in the world, feeling very very happy? i miss that feeling. try doing that when you're 21 and the person you're walking side by side with might just disclaim all affiliations with you.

lately however i have come quite close. pleasant feeling, that. but nothing that good is ever meant to last. even more so with the coming of the new semester...

driving by no.1 of ss15 got me noticing the fresh new faces on campus. kids right out of high school, eager to prove a point. i walked past the familiar shoplots we'd frequent during every break period, saw our ciggy spot being occupied by what seemed like tweens trying hard to puff a stick or two in their five inch heels. i am not looking forward to the start of second year; at the same time i cannot wait for my third year.

for the first time ever, i will be thousands of miles away from pooja. i'm not liking the thought of that. sighs.... oh bite me. she's one of the great loves of my life....

when the rain is blowing in your face

and the whole world is on your case,

i could offer you a warm embrace

to make you feel my love

when the evening shadows and the stars appear

and there is no one there to dry your tears

i could hold you for a million years

to make you feel my love

i know you havent made your mind up yet

but i would never do you wrong

ive known it from the moment that we met

no doubt in my mind where you belong..

i'd go hungry, i'd go black and blue

i'd go crawling down the avenue

no, there's nothing that i wouldnt do

to make you feel my love

the storms are raging on the rolling sea

and on the highway of regret

though winds of change are throwing wild and free

you aint seen nothing like me yet

i could make you happy, make your dreams come true

there is nothing that i wouldnt do

go to the ends of the earth for you

to make you feel my love

x

for vivian, paul and pooja:

i love you babies.

safe journey...
