not ready to make nice.
7:35 AM

i hate superstitions. period.

but this year, this day happened the same way it did last year. well not the same way, but it annoyed me just as much.

the previous friday the 13th, i was driving out of the usual massive jam outside of taylors, and my brakes took longer to kick in. i had to yank the handbrake and spit a nasty row of profanities at the almost-accident. nay, traffic collision.

'because accident implies there's nobody to blame'
per Sgt. Nicholas Angel, Hot Fuzz

today, i left the house at what seemed to be the crack of dawn, in an attempt to make it to the moots on time, or better still, early. but lo, the mother of all jams had me waiting on the freeway listening to ian and jj.

the shoes i chose to wear this morning were not made for walking. halfway through the day, i was already in pain.

i saw something, twice, and it brought intense pain. of a different kind.

sat at farbucks where my baby, my lifeline, went dead. had to knick the farbucks guy's phone.

drove home and started tearing up midway. dont know what's gotten into me. and arrived home without something, which i left at starbucks. called the guy. that same fella. who now thinks that i have a thing for him.

spiffing.

friday the thirteenth.
not funny.
never was, never will be.

i do not understand people lately. honest to god, i dont.

one thing i've learned from mum is that no matter how bad things get, they can always get worse. this covers a wide range of shit you get thrown from every possible angle, but what i mean to say is this:

treat people with respect, and you will get some in return.

if you have zero tolerance for anything which you regard as being beneath you, then you're the loser. not the fly you're ever so willing to swat.

the things i've seen the past couple of weeks were childish, unecessary and downright rude.

i am an observer.

and i hope, for your sake, there won't come a day when my usually quiet, indifferent self is replaced by someone who will be more than happy to put you at your place.

patience is a fucking virtue.

learn it.
