back to work
5:02 AM

for the better part of the weekend- post labour day, i got roped into yet another impromptu trip despite having tonnes to do. although terengganu was our initial destination, we decided to make do with a trip to the highlands and malacca; the six hour drive to the east coast was something nobody looked forward to.

having reached malacca with a sore bum, i found that i was partially deaf in my right ear. driving at higher altitudes, perhaps? but its still there now... *echo* *ECHO* ECHOOO*.... anywhos, malacca's changed... hate it when that happens. the last time i went was with a bunch of friends a couple of years back, when the most happening mall was mahkota parade... haha.
now, the ruins of the old fort is barely visible from the main road, what with it being blocked by the latest canggih-est retail monstrosity. i've never been around malacca with my parents; not sight-seeing at least. the two trips ive been on were with friends. bloody riot.

oh, and i must say...iron man was awesome. when i first saw the trailer several months back and took one look at the posters i thought what everyone else were thinking 'aiyah, another marvel flick' . but no. it is not merely another cheesy marvel flick, it is a very good cheesy marvel flick. this review does not come from the fact that i have had a long long loooong crush on robert downey jr.- it all began when i first saw 'hearts and souls' when i was six years old, only to fall in love with him again as larry paul in 'ally mcbeal' eight years later; though he is just one of the reasons, gwyn in her comeback and the lovely terrence howard gives us two more. this movie is worth a watch, and a second, and a third.. that is if you're particularly jobless.

now....its crunch time.
